A dynamic actress with an amazing screen presence, her first recognizable role was that of dubbing the voice of Lisa Ray in the bold movie – "Kasoor". She put in hard ten years in Bollywood to be finally appreciated and widely recognized for her work in Veer-Zaara. Nominated for a Filmfare - Best Supporting Actress Award, 2004 for her performance in the movie, she won the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role- Female.

One of the first thing that strikes you about Shreyas Talpade is that he is a natural actor. Starting as an actor in Marathi soap operas and as a stage artist across Maharashtra, he won appreciative comments for his role in a very popular Marathi serial "Damini". His debut performance in Bollywood film as a deaf youngster aspiring to be a cricketer in Nagesh Kukunoor's – Iqbal was widely appreciated. Even his next film, Dor was with Nagesh Kukunoor where he played the comic role of a behroopiya (a man with many disguises) with perfection.

He also starred in the comedy, Apna Sapna Money Money and Farah Khan's blockbuster movie, Om Shanti Om, with Shah Rukh Khan.
